In brief our problem with rfx2411n is that rfx begins to draw 200ma current without any reason. Rfx is powered down, powered from 3,0v. And suddenly something happens and it begins to draw 200ma current!!! No overvoltage (this is 3,7 li-pol powered device, 3,0 LDO on rfx) no shock, overheat happens and of course no software bugs in our firmware. Just normal conditions and.... ups something in rfx2411n goes wrong, and 200ma current begins. PDET pin shows 800mV this means that IC is transmitting, and rfx doesn't obey signals on RX, TX, MODE pins and it just transmitting and live it's own life.
To solve this problem we take voltage off from rfx2411n for 3 seconds, turn it on and everything is OK, rf front end works well! Then few days passed and suddenly this happens again, Rfx begin to draw 200ma current and live it's own life! This is stable bug.
We checked our design with Nordic engineers and they said "everything is good, your design will work well". But in practice Rfx just do this strange things again and again. This doesn't happen often, no degradation in sensivity. Is it ok to just reset power on rfx2411n? Is there any errata for this IC?
