nRF52832 pwm querry

Hello all ,

I am using nRf52832 and i found PWM conflicts with Softdevice: We were able to create a sample PWM application which works fine independently. When we merge the same app with the ble_uart_app it doesn’t work as expected. Looks like it conflicts either with the softdevice for BLE or with timers used internally. ?

Hi,

There should be no problem with merging ble_app_uart and PWM, and using them together. I would recommend using the PWM peripheral (pwm_driver) for BLE applications.

• Are you using the PWM library or the PWM driver?
• Could you explain some more about what is not working as expected?

Dear sir, We were using PWN library. The standalone application worked for us. Tried to dim the LED. When same code we integrated with ble_uart_app, the output was not as expected. Ill share more details on same after trying PWM driver.

Great. The PWM_driver example in the SDK can seem a bit complicated at first, so Torbjørn uploaded some simple example code for how the pwm driver can be used. You can find it in this post, in the pwm_simple.zip
