Raspberry PI 3 cannot connect to nRF52-DK running ble_app_hrs

Hi,

I have Raspberry PI 3 Model B Rev 1.2 running "Linux raspberrypi 4.9.41-v7+ #1023 SMP Tue Aug 8 16:00:15 BST 2017 armv7l GNU/Linux". Running BlueZ 5.43

I can connect other Bluetooth LE devices running bluetooth 4.1 and bluetooth 4.2 with Raspberry PI. But I cannot connect to nRF52-DK PCA100040 running the peripheral heart rate monitor with the same Raspberry PI. I also cannot connect nRF52832 Bluefruit Feather with the same Raspberry PI.

I can connect to the nRF52-DK PCA100040 with my mobile phone running Android. I can connect nRF52832 Bluefruit Feather with my mobile phone running Android.

I was wondering if there is some configuration missing.

Please help. Any recommendation/suggestion will be much appreciated. Thanks, Asha

To clarify, I mean connection over BLE. I use the following commands on Raspberry PI to connect to nRF52DK;

  1.    sudo hcitool lescan 
  2.   sudo gatttool -b <BLE ADDRESS of the device retrived via the hcitool lescan> -I
  3.   connect

Hi, The solution I found was instead of "sudo gatttool -b -I "

I issued "sudo gatttool -b -I -t random --listen"
