I have found multiple PDFs indicating the lay-out on the nRF52-DK. However, none of them tell me anything about the size of the kit. Does anyone have a PCB lay-out with at least the width and height of the PCB?

I just stumbled here with the same question. After digging around, I recommend looking at the Gerber files (nRF52 Development Kit - Hardware files 1_1_1/PCA10040-nRF52832 Bluetooth Smart,ANT,2.4GHz RF Development Board 1_1_1/Production files/) with the spiffy online gerber viewer at http://www.gerber-viewer.com/
Using that to look at 400150.GM1, I see that the board itself is 4" by 2.5".
The locations of the mounting holes appear to match that of the original Arduino, which can be found in www.safaribooksonline.com/.../ch04.html -- however that doesn't show you exactly where the holes are relative to the nRF52 board. But it should be enough to get you started (it worked for me).
