Is there source code for using the nRF51822 evaluation kit as an observer for beacons?

I would like to use the nRF51822 evaluation kit as an observer to detect beacons and take action based up the RSSI value. I can't seem to find any source code for S120 or S110 for this. Any help or simple source code would be appreciated. I do not want to pair with the beacons, I just want to detect their presence and read the RSSI values form them.

You can take a look at the Observer now available on the Nordicsemi github that works with the production version of the S110. This should also be possible on the S120 but I do not have any example code for this. The Observer in the github example uses the timeslot API and has an interface similar to standard HCI, it provides the RSSI and also a link quality indicator that provides a rough indicatior of the noise in the neighbourhood of the Observer.
