S310 using ANT as TX character

Dear Sir,

In SDK5.2.0 S310 HRM example, one nRF51422 act as BLE and ANT RX character.

Another nRF51422 with S210 software act as ANT TX character to send out command.

Could I use the nRF51422 with S310 software device to act as TX character and send out the heart rate data in ANT protocol?

Sorry for the late response on this thread.

It should be easy to configure the ANT application to transmit ANT heart rate data on top of S310. The S310 is after all just a combination of S210 and S110 protocol stacks and the API of S210 and S110 should be mirrored in the S310 softdevice.

Here is the porting guide, to port any S110 application to the S310 stack. There are actually only two changes needed:

1. Change the path from /include/S110 to /include/S310 , see screenshot
2. Change RAM and ROM settings as shown in the relevant screenshot.

I also attach the extended ble_app_lbs example with these changes so that you can run it directly for the S310 stack.

I imagine it is similar or identical to port an ANT S210 application to the S310 stack. Try it and report back how it turns out
