Schematic mismatch between OPS document and PDK schematic

Hi!

I've found mismatch between schematic reference from Product spec (here, page 692) and PCA10056 PCB (Preview Development Kit) for same operational mode.

In specification sheet pin E24 called DEC6 (instead DEC2 in PDK) and it's combined with DEC4 with additional 47nF cap which PDK doesn't have at all.

So i have a question - which design reference i should follow?

  • Hi,

This was changed between reference design v0.5.0 and v0.5.1, because the latest design proved to give slightly better performance. PDK was designed a while back and after the guidelines in v0.5.0. So in other words, I recommend that you stick to the v0.5.1 reference design in the OPS.
