about manual configuration of Bluetooth Mesh Devices using SMD buttons

I don't want my consumer to do provisioning of mesh-DEVICEs one by one (using Android or iOS APP) since in such case if he has 50 mesh-Devices in that case he will get frustrated.

So solution is "Batch Provisioning" of all devices in one shot.

As per my understanding, we can easily do it but this concept will failed in case of Configuration which will involved Relay ON/OFF, Proxy ON/OFF , Groups address setting etc. etc.

So my Question is, can we do pre-configuration of devices using SMD DIP switches like attached image ?? 6-Pin-Piano-Dip-Switch-Lead-Time.jpg_350x350.jpg

Can we send manual setting from Device firmware to smartphone APP after (batch) provisioning of that Device so that APP can create database ?

Here I am assuming provisioner APP will be same which afterward use to control & monitor the NODEs on the MESH. So it must have database of configuration of all NODEs.

Hi,

As far as I know this is possible. Our Bluetooth Mesh APIs were not built with this use case in mind and it might require a lot of work on your end to get it up and running.
