mcp dongle client application

I'm new to the Bluetooth LE world, and Nordic in particular. We have begun developing a system that acts as a Bluetooth master, and I am trying to figure out a way to test it using a PC. It looks like the master emulator only allows the nRF51822 development kit dongle to function as a master.

Is there a way to create a client application using the dongle?

If there is no way to use the dongle, is there anyway that I can write a client application on a PC to test a master device?

If there is no way to use a PC, how do you suggest testing a new master device?

Hi, to create applications on the PC that act as a peripheral (slave) you can try the nRF51 BLE Driver available for download from Nordic mypage. It will allow you to write applications on the PC that control a nRF51822 device with S110 SoftDevice.

The nRF51 BLE Driver is a C DLL with a GATT/GAP level API similar to the SoftDevice.
