Amazon FreeRTOS Support

i've seen examples in the nRF SDK using FreeRTOS and am very interested in integrating an (RT)OS for upcoming embedded projects since they very quickly outgrow the limits of "loop-based" execution.

with the new amazon FreeRTOS and cooperation partners (very interestingly also Wittenstein) i'd be interested to know if also nordic has any plans in joining this ecosystem / qualification program?

Hi,

This is quite early to say anything. But for now we are very careful in joining any new RTOS ecosystem. We already support Zephyr RTOS and FreeRTOS. We will closely monitor the market movements with Amazon FreeRTOS, but hard to commit at this stage.

based on the file structure, source files and the documentation seems like this will be pretty straight forward for now to integrate to just have the kernel running. Hopefully it stays this way.
