dual role bluetooth 5 ant 4 mode simultaneously

Hi!
I'm developing an application with a dual role on the nRF52840 PDK. On the one hand, the second nRF52840 PDK in the peripheral mode with which it is necessary to provide the PHY CODED (long range) mode. On the other hand, the smartphone is used, in central mode. The smartphone can be both bluetooth 5 (long range) and bluetooth 4 (1 Mbit).
Is it possible to configure the device to work simultaneously in a long range, like central. And at the same time as a device with 1 Mbit PHY for connecting with a smartphone version of bluetooth 4?

Peripheral nRF52840 PDK <-- Long Range --> Central nRF52840 PDK + Peripheral nRF52840 PDK <-- 1Mbps --> Central smart phone

it should be possible yes. Have you tried?

The statement "The smartphone can be both bluetooth 5 (long range) and bluetooth 4 (1 Mbit)." confuses me, as far as I know there are not smart phones that supports long range.
