is #BluetoothMesh provisioning required after firmware upgrade over DFU ?

In latest release of MESH SDK v1.0.0, there is support for DFU Bootloader.

It will be helpful, when there is upgrade from firmware side to add new features & remove bugs if any.

Will Firmware upgrade, erase #BluetoothMesh provisioning & configuration details from flash memory ?

If yes, then we have to re-provision & configure every device & I want to avoid this.

The firmware update should preserve the provisioning data stored on the Flash, so it should be possible to update the device firmware and use the provisioning data stored from earlier.

If you are using the embedded provisioner, the SDK will store the provisioning data in flash (pages as used by flash manager). When you are updating the firmware code you need to ensure that the firmware update does overwrite or use the flash pages used by the flash manager. Since the application developer needs to be aware of the flash pages used by the flash manager, the application developer needs to responsible to ensure that it does not get over written.
