Error #541: 'NKeil uVision_5.14 + nRF52 v 52832 + 'NordicSemiconductor.nRF_DeviceFamilyPack.8.15.0' is not installed

Hi All,

I've problem with nRF52 programming. I want to verify uart by using examples placed in the NS SDK for nRF52. After I loaded uart example, uVision shows error in command line: Error #541: 'NordicSemiconductor::Device:Startup:8.15.0' component is missing, pack 'NordicSemiconductor.nRF_DeviceFamilyPack.8.15.0' is not installed

Of course, I tried to install nRF_DeviceFamilyPack.8.15.0 pack manually, but this operation not workin at all. I also try change path of example catalog, install last packed version, re-install uVision, re-install SDK... error still accours... Could you give me some tips how this issue can be resolved ?

Hi,

By writing "manual installation" I've on my mind following procedure:

1. open Pack Installer window of uVision
2. Download 8.15.0 pack from: www.nordicsemi.com/.../48803
3. Install pack: File -> Import -> path to pack file
4. Verify whether it has been added (it is in mentioned version according to state of installed Packs)
5. Close Pack Installer window
6. Mark "yes" due to re-build pack info in uVision And after this re-build of information, I see small window with information that 8.0.15 pack has NOT been found and procedure should be made once again...

I don't understood this phrase: "What device pack version Keil MDK reports if you open the list and select nRF52832". You mean "Devices" tab in Pack Installer ? I see four of them: nRF52810_xxAA, nRF52832_xxAA, nRF52832_xxAB and nRF52840_xxAA
