nRF52832: Minimum voltage for DCDC ?

At what voltage should DCDC be manually turned off for a nRF52832 ?

This thread for nRF51 says:

You must manually disable the DCDC when supply voltage goes below 2.1V, and enable it when the supply voltage goes up again.

But the nRF52832 datasheet does not specify anything.

Is the above statement still valid for the nRF52832 ?

Hi JB21,

No, the DCDC on the nRF52832 can operate down to the minimum supply voltage of 1.7V so there is no need to monitor the supply voltage and disable the DCDC.

The nRF52832 will also automatically switch between the LDO and DC/DC regulator based on load to maximize efficiency (Given that the DCDC has been enabled).
