Eagle pcb required for nRF52 dk

Hi,

I’m currently trying to design my own pcb based on nRF52 Development Board. I went through a number of pcb files and all of them are associated withnrf52832 without the pca10040. I tried a few boards without the pca10040 mcu(SparkFun based nRF52832 breakout board) and none of them worked properly. However, I saw a few users stating that their design worked fine without PCa10040. So, I want an expert advise on how to move forward. Also, can I have a eagle pcb design based for nRF 52 dk with PCa10040? This will fasten up my thesis work and help me a lot.

  • Hi,

What do you mean by "not working properly"? The PCA10040 is a development kit with an onboard Segger MCU that you can use for programming and debugging the onboard (or even an external) nRF52 SoC. You will find reference files for the PCA10040 here, and refrence schematics and PCB layouts for the nRF52 only here. Unfortunately we don't have any official Eagle CAD files for neither the PCA10040 nor the nRF52 component, but you might find some unofficial libraries if you search in the forum or google it.
