nRF52840 with S140 Bluetooth QDID

Hi Nordic team,

Currently our company under developing the product using NRF52840 + S140 Softdevice.

Now we prepare to list our product with Bluetooth SIG but after I try searching for Nordic QDID of nrf52840 on Bluetooth SIG, there's nothing.

So, I have the question as below:

1. When will Nordic qualify nRF52840 and S140 Softdevice?

2. If we can't wait for Nordic QDID for nRF52840 and will conduct the process by our company, Could you suggest the process and how to prepare for qualification?

Hi,

We will have the QDIDs in place at the time we release the production version of the nRF52840. I recommend waiting for this.

Hi Sigurd,

If we wait until the nRF52840 + S140 is qualified. The next process, Can we go to product listing with SIG directly with only just reference to Nordic QDID?

or Do we need to qualify our End product again before go to product listing?
