QFAA only says something about the package and variant, but you need to know the build code too. Have a look at this IC revision table.
Then have a look at the PAN v3.0 document. In chapter 3.2 You will see that the PAN 39 is fixed in these chip revisions (they are all IC revision 3):
If you are using a Revision 3 IC, but still see similar issues I suggest that you make a new thread and describe your application and what you see in more detail.

Thank you Martin I absolutely had no idea about this topic, my version is the QFAAHO which belongs to IC revision 3 and should have this GPIOTE issue solved. I will do another post because GPIOTE is drawing at least 900uA, which is too much as long as this PAN should be solved.
