Problem setting up calibration resistors

We are in the development stage of a product that uses the nRF52832 and have acquired a nRF6707 Rev 1.1.0 power profiler kit to make power consumption measurements.
I am using it plugged into a nRF5x DK.
I have cut SB9. There are no problems with lower currents. With currents over 3mA, LED2 on the PPK flashes rapidly. The on board regulator is also going out of regulation with higher currents. With the output of the PPK set at 3.6V, a 36mA load brings the output down to 2.7V. After setting the resistor calibration number for 6mA load, I still see 6mA on the plot when the load is changed to 10mA. Again, all lower currents are displayed accurately on the plot. Can someone please tell me if the board is not set up correctly or if there might be something wrong with the board.

Thank You

  • Can you post your calibration values? Also, above 3mA will start the trigger if that is not touched, causing the LED to start flashing (it flashed everytime a trigger set is sent). Try and stop trigger while doing these tests. What version of software are you using? Some have had trouble with 1.1.0, so try also to flash the board with 1.0 and use the software for that version and see if the problem persists.
