doubt regarding connection interval

hi team, i am having a doubt. i had created a service for connection interval which is 0x1528. with read and write properties. in that we can set value from 100ms to 10240ms. my advertising time out is set to 0. what my doubt is if i set my connection interval value as 10000ms. it will advertise for every 10 seconds. am i correct? if i am wrong please clarify me.

i am using nrf52840 sdk 14.1. nrf connect app.
