J-Link OB image, where can I find this image

The board is PCA10040 Dows not shows as serial port but shows as a storage when BootReset. Where is the J-LINK OB image to load?

  • Great thank you for the answer, I did but the move of the file says that the file is too large for the destination. Plus the board stays as storage only for a few seconds then disappears. Is my board bricked?

    • After it disappears, does it re-connect/appear again ? Or is it completely gone after it first disappears?

    • Do you have the same behavior if the board is in bootloader mode(press the IF BOOT/RESET button whilet you turn the board off and on again)?

    • What version of the PCA10040 do you have?

    • What OS are you running on your computer? Windows 10 ?

  • Sigurd:

    • After the disappear I need to BOOT/RESET again.
    • It works only in BOOT/RESET no other mode works, no serial connection, just dead, but it used to work in the past.
    • Version 0.9.0 2015.42
    • Running Windows 10 The last booted firmware was the Espruino! Could this be the fault? Then nothing else was loading anymore by the serial (still working at this point). Then I made the BOOT/RESET. Since locked this way. No more serial.
    • Can you confirm that you tried all the steps in this list? Could you also try it on another computer.
    • If you open the command line, and run nrfjprog -i , do the serial number of the J-Link show up ?
    • Does the device show up in Device Manager on your computer?

Note that the PCA10040 version 0.9.0 uses a Engineering B of the nRF52832, which is obsolete and no longer recommended.
