DFU problem

I saw the Dfu example. BLE Secure DFU Bootloader and Buttonless DFU Template Application. I have two questions here. The boot loader and app distinguish a ram area, should I divide this area? And another question is, what advantages do I have when I build a boot loader? I would appreciate your reply.

Hi,

Bootloader and application are linked separately in flash, but share the same RAM region since they are never run concurrently. RAM is re-initialized by the respective reset handler when you 'jump' between bootloader and application.

The bootloader provides the DFU functionality (i.e., receiving and activating new FW images), while the Buttonless DFU Template Application example demonstrates how to enter bootloader DFU mode from the main application.
