There is no support for BT 5 Long Range on nRF52832! The reason is that the radio is required to support a Forward Error Correction encoding on the Tx and decoding on the Rx, in HW. This scheme was added by the SIG in BT 5 specs when that was released in December 2016. The nRF52832 was introduced in summer of 2015, and the radio section did not have such capability, which was subsequently added to the radio section of nRF52840
