IC revision of nrf51422

Hi all:

My customer has different IC revision of nrf51422,one is QFAAEx0,the other is QFAAFx0.

I see the "nRF51422 IC revision overview" ,QFAAEx0 is revision-2 ,the QFAAFx0 is revision-3.

I have two question ,

(1) Does SDK12.3 can work at revision-2 of nrf51422?

(2)which version of SDK can be used at revision-2 and revision-3?

I see this table ,the SDK6.1.0 can work at revision-2 and revision-3,is it right?

Since SDK 12.3 uses S130 v2, which is supports only rev 3 of the nRF51-series silicon, revision 2 is not supported.

Any SDK that uses a revision 2 and 3 supported SoftDevice will work on both devices. This is then nRF51 SDK v6.1 to v10.

SDK v6 uses S110 v7.x, and this is compatible with revision 2 without any changes to the code base.

If using SDK 7 or newer:

Note that when using rev 2, you have to enable the CPU blocking during events, ie: do the reverse of what is shown in this case:

This is because rev 2 had a potential issue with concurrency if the application accessed the AHB-bus in an on-going connection event. This issue was fixed in revision 3.
