nRF Sniffer plugin (2.0) - multiple issues

Hi,

I'm using the nRF51 Dongle as a sniffer to capture BLE data. I set up the device and the plugin as instructed in the User Guide 2.0.

1. When starting Wireshark, the plugin doesn't show up frequently. Only after repeated Wireshark restarts it randomly appears.

2. When it does start, it doesn't always display any packets at all.

3. When it starts capturing everything seems to be fine, except when I try to apply the RSSI filter from the example on page 9 in the User Guide 2.0. It has no effect.

Would appreciate help.

Action requested: Can you mention the jlink firmware version that you are using on the jlink emulator on the nRF5x board.

Can you also look at the updated nRF Sniffer v2 user guide (v2.1). Jlink 6.16c is the only usable version of the segger jlink for nRF Sniffer v2 beta 1.

I was using J-Link 6.16c as instructed, but there was indeed a version mismatch on the device itself. Updating it seems to have fixed issues 1&2. Thanks.

As for issue 3 - applying the RSSI filter from the example in page 11 (UG 2.1) yields the following error: 

"Unrecognized libpcap format or not libpcap data."

"Error by extcap pipe: Access is denied."

Applying it while already capturing simply does nothing.

Am I doing anything wrong here?
