hi team,

     how can i message a nordic employee privately. to ask some of the questions like RSM in my region and so on. because old conversation are deleted. in this new web i didnt find anything to talk privately. help?

Hi karthikeyan, what you can do is click on the username that you want to message. That should then bring you to the user's profile info page. In the top right corner, you can see the button Connect. If you press the connect button, you can press "Request Friendship". It seems that currently you need to be friends with the person you want to send a private message. Once you are friends, I believe you can press the connect button again & a new tab will appear, where you can send a private message. Hopefully this is something we will change in the future, as it was possible to send private messages to everyone in the old devzone.

Regarding old private messages, you can get them back by referring to this link.

thanks bjorn. but i think all the nordic employees will not accept friend request. so it seems it is hard to message privately

Hi karthikeyan. It seems my last answer was slightly incorrect. If you press on the Bell in the top right corner & then the settings button, you can change who you can accept private messages from. I have changed my settings from "Only Friends" (default setting) to "Everyone", so it should be possible for you to send me a private message. You can try this if you want to test it.

Hi karthikeyan, I had to accept your friend request before I could send you a private message for some reason. Are you sure the settings are set to everyone? Did you remember to press Save at the bottom of the settings page?
