nRFnRF 51 series

Hi Everyone. I am Anthony, embedded software engineer. Now I need to dive into the Nordic BLE world for the new project. And we are going to used nRF51822 MCU. But I have never done Nordic BLE MCU project before (only familiar with Cypress PSoc BLE MCU). Even though I have read the documents and guideline, I still don't get the clear piture or road map on how to deal firmware with Nordic MCU. Is there any Block diagram which shows the road map for firmware developement and any steps that I need to follow easily?

Hi Anthony.

I have a couple of things that I would advice you to take a look at.

We have a tutorial section here on devzone, that you could check out.
The;
Getting started with the nRF51 or nRF52 Development kit
Advertising/Service/Characteristic
is a good place to start. The ad/ser/char tutorials is a little outdated (using SDK 11.) but a lot of the information would still be useful.
Also, one of mye colleagues have a similar tutorial on his github, that is using SDK v14.2.0.

Our all-knowing infocenter is also a good source of information.
We have a getting started page.
You can also find information about the different devices, specs, SDK example exaplanations and so on.

We also have a introductory youtube tutorial-series for using our nRF5 SDK, with focus on using SEGGER Embedded Studio;
