gcc v7 for SDK 14.2

Hi,

Will the SDK examples work if gcc v7 is used? I have tried an example with softdevice + application and bootloader, using gcc v7 compiles and flashes to the nrf52 DK but does not seem to run/execute as expected. 

Any inputs on this will be very helpful.

Shouldn't be a problem, unless you're using -flto.

Did you remember loading the SoftDevice or write the correct bootloader address to the UICR?

I usually do something like this to ensure a known starting point:

nrfjprog -e && make flash_softdevice && make flash

That was indeed the issue! The bootloader makefile has -flto flag. Thanks a lot for your help!
