MAX30100 Library Adapdation

Hi everyone,

I'm currently working on MAX30100 sensor and i need to read this sensor data with i2c, currently i'm able to read mpu6050 and 9255. However i don't have much experience about building or integrating libraries at all. I've found max30100 arduino library which works fine with arduino. ("https://github.com/oxullo/Arduino-MAX30100"). Do you have any advices/ road maps to convert this library into a nRF51822 library. Currently i'm working with nRF51 DK but my project will end up with nRF51822 with our PCB with max30100 on it.

Hi,

Unfortunately, we do not have any libraries/drivers for the MAX30100 sensor. You will have to read the datasheet to find the correct registers to read/write, then you can modify the TWI sensor example to use the correct configuration and readings. You can also try to port the Arduino library to work with the TWI driver in our SDK, but this might be more hassle to get working.

You have to check where you found the library if there is any documentation for it. I linked to the documentation on the TWI driver in our SDK above. You do at least have to swap the arduino read/write functions towards the corresponding functions from the TWI driver in the SDK.
