Get started, which direction

Dear Sir or Madam,

I'm using a dev kit with the nRF52832 to realize a project in school. 
So my work contains two wearables and both include the nRF52832. Now I want to communicate with both of this moduls to send them some commands with my smartphone.
Accourding to this i don't know which example fits best. I hope you can help me with this starting problems.

A good place to start is the BLE blinky example.  This uses a simple ble service to send on/off commands to an nRF from a smartphone.

The source code for both android and ios is on git hub too.

After that there are HID (human interface device) examples that can send keyboard info, mouse data, etc.

But ble blinky is a good place to start.
