Need to connect raspberry pi with nordic thingy 52 using ble

Question

i want to connect raspberry pi 2 with nordic thingy 52 via ble.....while issuing connect command after gatttool -I -b Mac addr it is throwing some connection refused error 111.....what is the solution to connect using ble????? 
 
 raspberry pi 2 OS :stretch lite kernel : 4.14.18

Hi, 
 Have you looked at our Thingy:52 Raspberry Pi and Node JS example source code ? Our example uses Raspbian Jessie and there might be some dependencies missing in Stretch Lite. I suggest you try our proven setup with Raspbian Jessie. If not you will have to figure out which differences between Jessie and Stretch Lite you need to patch.
