nRF52840 / reducing part sizes?

Hi at All,

 

I’m currently working at a design using nRF52840. It’s extremely space sensitive and actually I’m not able to place all the needed parts to the PCB.

Therefore I have to think about to reduce the parts sizes.

1. Topic: Reducing Size of CAPS 0603 to 0402:

Is it possible to reduce the size of CAPs C15/C14/C6/C19/C20/C21 (red marked) from 0603 / 6.3V – X7R to 0402 / 6.3V – X5R?

2. Topic: Reducigg Size of Inductor L2:

Is it possible to reduce the size of Inductor L2 form 0603 to 0402?

Have a look at this white paper for capacitor choices: nWP-030

I've not come across a 10 µH inductor in 0402 size. You can split it in two 4.7 µF inductors, but that might not be smaller.
