Problems with creating a lightbulb custom HomeKit accessory

Hello,

I'm trying to create a lightbulb custom HomeKit accessory by referring to the User Guide v1.7.1. I followed the exact same steps as described in the document for creating a custom Fan accessory. However, after programming the lightbulb application the board isn't booting. I don't see any BLE advertisements.

I'm suspecting the db_CHR_CNT(30) value in my App.h. It's not clear to me how this number being is calculated. For the Lock application it is set 30 for other 191, 300 etc..!

Any inputs?

Hi Avati,

The char count for the door loack was supposed to be 30. The other master example has more char count as it includes all the possible service profiles provided in the kit. I think you should check if your custom lightbulb service has more characteristics than the template doorlock example. If it does, you need to increase the char count value.
