Power Profiler KIT with PCA10056 DK Configuration

Hello everyone,

after hours of python module installation, I was able to run the PPK with PCA10056. I have cut the SB40 and used an external pwoer source with 2,5 V. I have used the ble_uart example to check the consumption. I was expecting 7-8 mA peaks for each Advertising but the result below makes no sense. it has a bias of -28uA and peak is at +50uA. PPK SW2 was set to DK as well as SW3 and SW4. DK was connected with Powersource and also connected with USB. I would appreciate your help if someone can explain why I get this result.

Which version of the nrf52840 DK are you using? It's the number under the PCA10056 on the interface MCU of the PDK that I am interested in (something like 0.12.0 or similar)

I am using V0.9.2 (DK) and PPK, PCA63511 (Rev 1.1.0).

We have noticed on the 0.9.2 nrf52840 PDK that it might help to also cut the SB41 (in addition to the SB40) solder bridges when using the PDK together with the PPK (see link). Could you try that and see if you get more accurate PPK current measurements?

Hello, cutting the SB41 was the solution. Now I read 10-11mA current peaks.
