NRF52840 Rev C. backwards compatibility

With the release of the NRF52840 Rev C., are there any hardware changes that must be made? Will the new revision be backwards compatible with Rev B?

I don't have any information about hardware changes at this point. If there are any changes these will be announced through the usual official channels.
