This depends on your definition of RFID. It's most definitely possible to use our chips for RFID solutions, all our current chips are in the 2.4 GHz frequency band, which I believe isn't part of a lot of the regular RFID standards.
If you don't have any particular frequency requirements, I'd say that all our chips are possible options, both the nRF24L01+ transceiver, the older and smaller nRF24LE1 SoC and the newest nRF51822 SoC. The latter might be overkill for such solution, even though it would most certainly be possible to make.
