openlog with nrf51 over UART

after several attempts to debug and understand what goes in my handlers in the BLE callbacks, I thought to give a UART logger a try.

this is what I'm trying to use: OpenLog

With a simple uart setup, even with 9600 baud rate I get no input on the other side ( files are created with NULLs ).

Is there any special setup required? Any idea what might be the issue?

Can you draw a schematic about how nRF51 pins are connected to OpenLog Pins ? Are the voltage level between boards the same ? Is baud rate the same ? Have you tried to swap RX with TX wires ?
