J-Link can't connect to nRF51 Dongle

I was trying to install firmware into my nRF51 Dongle using jlink.exe on Windows, so I can use nRF Sniffer.  I made the mistake of unplugging the dongle from USB after erasing the existing firmware but before installing the new.  Now when I run jlink with the dongle plugged in, it says "Cannot connect to J-Link via USB."  How do I recover from this?  Thanks!

  • Thanks, Martin!  The suggestions in the thread you posted worked.  Specifically, I plugged the Dongle in while holding down its only button.  It then appeared in Windows Explorer as a storage drive called "BOOTLOADER".  I dragged and dropped the file linked in the post onto it and then cycled power on it.  I could then update its firmware using Jlink.exe.  I then power cycled it again and Wireshark is now working with it.
