Heart Rate Example Changes Update Rate

I am using the heart rate example to do a quick demo. I am sending a short string of data one byte at a time to the iphone. I decreased the HEART_RATE_MEAS_INTERVAL interval dramatically from 1000 to 150 to get the data across quickly. What I have noticed is the update interval is fast, but the suddenly slows down quite significantly. The PCA10001 hasn't moved out of range. It is still with two feet of the PCA10000. Any explanation why it does this? Any way to force it to stay at the faster rate?

I have this issue also, and solved it just now. I modified both MIN_CONN_INTERVAL and MAX_CONN_INTERVAL values to match the interval of sending packets. In my design, the MIN is 50ms, by the way.
