How to test IR sensor with nRF52832?

I have nRF52832 as my development kit. Currently I am testing various ble peripherals i.e Blinky , beacon etc. Now I have to test IR sensor with the Development kit .I aim to use IR sensor as obstacle avoider. However I have very less idea of how to proceed with this. I have Keil (licenced version). Kindly help with both transmission and reception of IR signal .

Note: I am very new to this platform , just started with BLE and therefore currently testing all the examples. 
Please provide a simplified solution .

hi,

  In the sdk there will be twi_scanner and twi_sensor examples. if you want your ir sensor work with i2c you can see those examples. if you want it in adc you can see saadc example.

i have connected my IR sensor to digital input output pins which is P0.11 and P0.12 . How to proceed with that? ThankYou

Please provide details on what IR sensor you are using. If you search DevZone, there should be some posts about this, at least for nRF51 series. If you are having issues, please post details on what you have tried, and what is not working.

MH sensor series - Flying Fish IR sensor module FC -51. I am trying to get the data from IR sensor via BLE device ( in this case nRF52832) and transfer it using UART to other divice. I am using SDK14.2.

Please post the code you have written to interface the sensor, and explain what is not working. Nobody here is going to write the firmware for your sensor for you, we can only help you find solutions to your issues.
