Hi, has anyone used the nrfgo SDK (for the nRF24LE1) with either eclipse or SDCC? We use those platforms already, so it would be great if we could add your SDK to our toolchain. Thanks, Mahesh

Hi Mahesh,
We have not tried integrating SDCC with eclipse internally, but there seems to be 3rd party plugins (search for "eclipse-sdcc") for eclipse+sdcc available, however; since we have not tested this, we cannot state anything about how well they work.

Hi Hakon, sorry, i wasn't clear. Has anyone used the nrfgo SDK with eclipse or sdcc? we'd generally use open source toolchains and operating systems.
Best,
Mahesh
Hi Mahesh,
I am sorry for the confusion. We have had customers that use the nRFgo SDK with SDCC, but you should note that it's written for Keil C51, so it will not compile out-of-the-box with SDCC.
Cheers,
Håkon
Thanks. Is there any information on what modifications need to be made to use it? gazell seems to be an intriguing library but i'll need to move to SDCC to avoid the keil 4KB limit.
best,
mahesh
Hi,
I received an email from Scott that the free limit on Keil is 32K (see below), but for me, it's topping out at 4K. The documentation in the nRFGo SDK help file says "To extend the 2 kbyte evaluation version to 4 kbytes [...] Use the following serial number: SKAPZ-JRXUV-SBV97". Is that wrong? Or is there a different serial number that should be used? I am running into the 4K limit when I have code for ADC+RF+STDIO+UART+RTC in one project. Best, Mahesh
