NRF51422 FCC limitations for ANT and BLE

I want to add an external PA to the NRF51422. My understanding of 15.247 is that you can transmit up to 30dBm if you use spread spectrum. Does the NRF51422 use DSSS for Bluetooth or ANT?

BLE uses FHSS (frequency hopping spread spectrum) and the modulation is GFSK (Gaussian Frequency Shift Keyring).

Update :

ANT+ uses an adaptive isochronous network technology and GFSK modulation.
