Limiting/controlling advertising channel with nRF51822 Beacon

Hi,

I am new to the scene of BLE beacon development. I am using multiple Bluetooth smart beacon kits for indoor ranging/positioning purposes. To reduce the effect of interference, I would like to limit the channels the beacons use to broadcast their advertisements rather than using all ch 37,38 and 39.

How can I implement this on the smart beacons, or otherwise using the TIMESLOT ADVERTISER for S110 mentioned in a previous post (advertising-on-a-single-channel)? Please shed some light on how this can be done within the beacon's firmware and whether there are examples for it.

The Advertiser/Observer based on the Timeslot API now available. This will make it possible to advertise on a single channel or a combination of advertising channels.

Use the btle_hci_adv_params_set API call.

Use the btle_dd_channel_map_t in the btle_cmd_param_le_write_advertising_parameters_t to set the advertising channels that you want to use.
