Ho to debug this to make segger work?

  • Hi,

Are you referring to the LED on the DK that does not light up, or is it another LED on your custom board?

If it is the LED on the DK, you could try another USB cable to see if that is the issue (and check on other computers).

If that does not work, hold in the RESET button and power cycle the kit. Does it now start to blink? If yes; then it should come up with a drive labeled "BOOTLOADER".

Download and copy this .bin to that drive, wait 10 seconds then power cycle the board again: nRF5x-OB-JLink-IF

When using the debug out from header P19, it is very important that your custom board has the same voltage as the nRF5x-DK (3V nom.).

If the nRF5x-DK is in order, and it fails to program or connect to it after some time, I suspect that the battery in your custom board is dead.
