Enable DC/DC regulator without an external LC filter

I found Note declaration at nRF52840_PS....pdf.

The Note is that "Do not enable DC/DC regulator without an external LC filter being connected as this will
inhibit device operation, including debug access, until an LC filter is connected."

How about nRF52832?

Will be damaged? or Only impact to 2.4GHz?

  • Hello,

I would like to use DC/DC converter for the beacon demo to decrease the current drawn but I could not find any specification on LC filter. Depending on what should I choose the values? Or is there a default configuration?

    Thank you,

    Burnie

Edit: I am using nRF52 DK, does it have an internal LC filter?

Edit 2: Yep, turns out it does, with the components L2, L3 and C10.
