nRF52 demo board, and 5V power

Hi,

I would like to use a nRF52 demo board, to test nRF BLE with a HX711 and screen.
The nRF module is powered 3.3V but the HX711 and the screen are 5V powered.
Is the bus communication I2C working with level translator, and also for signals,  data_load_cell and clk_load_cell of the HX711 ?

Hi,

Using the nRF52 with a 3.3V <-> 5V level converter shouldn't be a problem.

PS: The nRF52 DK has some protection diodes with voltage drops that causes VDD_nRF to be closer to 2.9V. However, a level converter will still work.

Could the I2C bus work without a level converter?

You will need a level converter. You should never connect anything above 3.6 V (the max recommended operating voltage) to any pin on the nRF52.
