Nordic Solution for Android Pad

Hi,

We're looking for a Bluetooth chipset / module for a Android Pad hardware.

Given that Android 8.0 BlueDroid stack requires Bluetooth chip support HCI commands, is there a Nordic chip or solution can meet this requirements?

Or Nordic chips and solutions are for Bluetooth peripherals, no chip for Android hardware available.

Hi Terry,

We do provide a HCI interface through the Serialization API. Please note that our chips are exclusively Bluetooth Low Energy.

Sorry to be rather late to this, but I noted the following via terrytao's link in  the  OP:

"Android devices with a qualified chipset can implement either Classic Bluetooth or both Classic Bluetooth and BLE"

So it seems that BLE-only is not a supported option for Android devices?
