Health Thermometer Service

Hello,

In my project, there is a need to use a service to transfer body temperature. For this I would like to use the standard body temperature service - Health Thermometr.

but I'm having a problem. According to the specification of this service, the inclusion of notification is optionally available (https://www.bluetooth.com/specifications/gatt/viewer?attributeXmlFile=org.bluetooth.service.health_thermometer.xml).

and in the proposed SDK the indication is used.

what is correct? Notification or indication?

Maybe I'm missing something, but as far as I can see the Temperature Measurement Characteristic (UUID 0x2A1C) requires the Indication property:

 

In the ble_app_hts example in SDK 15 the characteristic properties are configured in this manner:
