Prevent APP Data erase while flashing new firmware

I'm gonna store some initial data in flash, this data must be saved permanently (I need about 1024 bytes. it's 1 page), so how can I protect this flash area with my data (I use the last page for this) not to be erased while I reflash new firmware. Usually I use nrf51 mass_erase to prepare uploading new firmware?

Hi!

As far as I know there is no way to "save the data permanently", so that it is protected from an erase.

When using, i.e nrfjprog, you could use the sectorerase option when programming your device.

Sectorerase: If --sectorerase is given, only the targeted non-volatile memory pages, excluding UICR, is erased.
