N/A in nrf app, what does it stand for?

When using nrf scanner to detect my beacon why BLE device name shown is 'N/A' , that field is designed for what? How can I change use ubuntu 'bluez' library? Thanks!

    You will get "N/A" as the device name can't be read or aren't advertised. Have a look at this post, it explains why beacons typically don't have a name and how tou can set it.
