Mesh Beacon Production

Nordic Support,

Any Reference Schematic available for production of   Mesh Beacons based on nRF52832 ?

  • What do you mean by a Mesh beacon ? A beacon like eddystone/ibeacon or something else ?

Edit: If you are making a relay device used for Mesh, this would typically need to be a mains powered device like an LED light. A battery operated mesh device would need to be a GATT proxy.

We do not have reference designs for AC powered devices.

Are you looking for an AC powered relay device or something different ?

    Edit:

The beacons/tags in the asset tracking use case can be battery powered. The relay devices if they are battery powered may need to limit their scan time which will impact the time needed to discover a beacon. Bluetooth Mesh v1.0 relay node is not very battery friendly, but you can consider the Fruity Mesh and evaluate the power needed for a relay node.
